ESP Hires Developer Nathan Teoh
Nathan Teoh has been recently hired as a Software Developer for Enhanced Software Products, Inc. (ESP). He joins the Development Team, where he will work on projects such as redesigning ESP's Web Banking and mobile app.
Nathan hails from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where he began messing around with computers at age 11. His older brother built a computer, and his interest was peaked. His first aha moment in software started with the software application Crayon Physics Deluxe. This application is a 2D game that converts drawings into objects that demonstrate real-world physics. Nathan found that through rudimentary programming, he could change the game's music - a revelation for him. Later in his teens, he built custom program skins for the Android operating systems.
Four years ago, Nathan moved from Kuala Lumpur to the Bronx in New York City with his brother. He found "The City That Never Sleeps" very exciting with its 24-hour lifestyle and appreciated the plethora of all-night restaurants. He moved to Spokane roughly two years ago.
Nathan is a recent graduate of Eastern Washington University (EWU) with dual baccalaureate degrees in Computer Science and Data Science. ESP is filled with EWU Eagles, and Nathan fits right in.
This is Nathan's first job since graduating from EWU. As part of his training at ESP, he is learning to track down problems and, in particular, decipher tickets- a skill he will use every day. He enjoys seeing how big applications such as FORZA are tested for vulnerabilities.
In his spare time, Nathan enjoys cinematography with his Sony DSLR and modding his 1994 BWM E36. He also builds custom-molded computer keyboards.
We are excited to have him join our Team.
